Rehman Chishti remembers fallen soldiers
Parliamentary Candidate joins ex-servicemen for remembrance service

Cllr Rehman Chishti, Conservative Party Parliamentary Candidate for Gillingham and Rainham, attended a service of remembrance for fallen soldiers on Sunday, November 11.

The Rainham Central Councillor laid a wreath at the memorial in Mill Road, Gillingham, before the service of remembrance at St Mark's Church.

The annual act of remembrance was well attended by the servicemen of the past, from the Royal British Legion, the servicemen of the present, from the Royal Engineers based at Gillingham, and the servicemen of the future, from the Cadet forces and Scouts.

The Conservative Party understands the importance of remembering those who gave their lives for their Country - viewed by most as the ultimate sacrifice - and will continue to support services of remembrance to ensure that we never forget.
